Medical Doctor-in-Training, Book Author | Contributing opinion writer for The New York Times
Dr Lisa Pryor is a first year Psychiatry Registrar in Sydney and a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times. She graduated from The University of Sydney in 2015 and last year completed an internship at Blacktown Hospital.
Before her career in medicine she was for many years a journalist at The Sydney Morning Herald and is the author of two books, A Small Book About Drugs (Allen & Unwin) and The Pinstriped Prison (Picador).
She also has a law degree and an arts degree from the University of Sydney.
